KAMATYC Spring Conference 2007

In 2007, KAMATYC held a joint spring meeting with the Kansas Section of the Mathematical Association of America (KMAA).  The details of the conference follow.  [Pages pertaining to this conference that were originally on the WSU site were copied and archived on the KAMATYC site, as was the final program.]

Registration:

The conference is free, there is no registration fee, but we do ask you to pre-register.  Send an email to KAMATYC President Steve Wilson (swilson@jccc.edu) with your name, affiliation, address, and email address.

Presentations:

Members of both KAMATYC and KMAA have volunteered to present.  The list of abstracts is available at the KMAA abstracts page.  Information about the keynote speaker is available on the speakers page.

Location:

All activities will take place in Jabara Hall on the Wichita State University campus.  A campus map is available.

Friday, March 30

• 6:30 p.m.,  Registration begins
• 7:15 p.m., Introductory remarks by WSU President Donald Beggs
• 7:30 p.m., First keynote address by Professor Robert Finn of Stanford University
• 8:30 p.m., Reception

Saturday, March 31

• 8:30 a.m., Registration begins
• 9:00 a.m., Sessions
• 11:30 a.m., Lunch break (on your own)
• 1:00 p.m., Second keynote address by Professor Finn
• 2:15 p.m., Sessions
• 4:00 p.m., KMAA and KAMATYC meetings
